I Am Art Exhibition 2016: CALL FOR ARTISTS AND FASHION DESIGNERS

I Am Art Exhibition is about personalising Art and growing an in-depth appreciation of Art in the minds of the Public. The Exhibition is proposed to increase the value, the respect, the appreciation Art is due to have (especially here in Nigeria) and to make the Artist go beyond their comfort Zone in their Art works – to go beyond just the pencil and paper, the ink or paint and canvas, to letting people see the idea and emotions of an Artist. – Also, giving Artists the platform to meet and stay connected to Mentors in their various genres of Arts. The Work Media for display would range from SCULPTURE, PAINTING, PHOTOGRAPHY, DRAWING, INSTALLMENTS, MIXED MEDIA, and FASHION. With Work Size: 4'’X6’' (MIN) to 30"x40" (MAX). 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTISTS AND FASHION DESIGNERS:

1. Cover letter describing exhibition proposal.
2. Three to Five (3-5) digital images on CD/DVD. Images should be presented in JPEG format with image size set to 300 dpi resolution, 4" x 6" image size, approximately.
3. Artist Resume including biography, educational background, and exhibition record. NB: [These requirements should be sent via email (see below)]
 Entries Due: October 15th, 2016. Selection Process: A 5-man Jury has been set up to select the works to be displayed.
Delivery: Selected Artists would be contacted and directed to the selected galleries in Enugu State to make delivery of the Artworks.
   THE EVENT:
  Opening reception: 5th November, 2016.
Exhibition Location: Enugu State. Reception Time: 9am (Social Exhibition) – 10:30pm (5:30pm,              Corporate Exhibition; 7:30pm, Networking Dinner). Red Carpet starts by 4pm.
    Exhibit Ends: 19th of November, 2016.
    Pickup Artwork: Art works would be displayed for 12 working days from the Opening reception [including Saturdays] until 19th of November, 2016, after which Artists, who have outstanding works would be required to pick up their Art works..
